My internet problem –

Don’t you just hate it when you can’t access the interent? Well, in my situation here, I can. However, since I last updated my computer, it also updated my internet explorer (another reason to get firefox). Unfortunately, my computer uses Vista and whenever it detects a new program, it lets you either allow or deny the program. (Another reason to switch back to XP). Since my Dad put parental control on it, only he can allow the program as you need the password. I must say, it is a pain in the neck, butt, EVERYWHERE !! So now, I’m downstairs typing on my Dad’s computer (which the pace of the computer is slower than a snail). Although my internet explorer can’t work, it is a relief that msn can. I suppose I’ll have to give facebook and quick reply to comments on my blog a miss.

Anyways, today was fairly ordinary – nothing much to post :P

hey, if you turn UAC (User Account Control) off it won’t ask you for permission. Just go to Control Panel-click on your account-Click on Turn User Account control on or off-then follow the prompts to turn it off. Just to remind you, you have to be administrator to do this.

  2. u cant turn off uac wen hes restricted.. but there are ways to bypass parental control on vista. jk firefox is better than vista but chrome is the best so far. the newest ie is still slower than firefox although faster than ie7

Yeah I have google chrome and it’s noticebly faster than ie. You can also access frequently visited pages by clicking on the icons when you load chrome.

Well, my internet like never cuts out or goes slowly because I have like 25GB data per month!

    • Oh thanks everyone for your advice. It’s so fustrating tho :@ Anyways, I just can’t wait to get my laptop at the end of the year. I’m just so fed up with Vista. Definitely down grading…
